Finally, the Disneyland Report

I have not gotten dressed for the day yet, it is 1:30, and my kids are hungry but I am going to finally get these pictures put up from Disneyland. Since getting back from our vacation, Jacob has had the flu-a particularly nasty strain of it too- and Alan's back decided it was done holding him up. He has been flat on his back for almost a week and we finally went to the Dr. only to receive some wonderful drugs that have allowed him to get back to work and move finally. I am pretty sure this is happening because he is turning 40 in two months. Things just break all of sudden on him and so we are hopeful he can get back to being mobile again with help and conquer his 40th year!
We had fun at Disneyland, of course. We decided after the trip we didn't really need 5 days there but we enjoyed our time together. The 12 hour drive was tough and next time we go to California, we will definitely break up the trip. We did stop in Cedar City on the way home and stayed the night. That was nice to see Marni and Dave for a little bit and get out of the car. Grandpa Ron and Grandma Ginny surprised the kids and came out for a few days to be with us in the park. It was so fun to see them. The trip was a nice break and our favorite part was the warm sunny weather. It is coming here slowly and we are definitely looking forward to the summer.
