The table is done!

Jacob and Daniel and I have been working for about 1 1/2 weeks on a picnic table Alan brought home from a yard sale.  It was in pretty bad shape but we have finally made it respectable again.  All it needs now is for the paint to dry so we can put a clear coat on it to last through the snow.  It was a fun project to do with the boys before they start school.  I think they enjoyed this better than the clean up and reorganize my kitchen project!
We thought since the table was headed for the dump anyway, we would have some fun with it.  So we found a geko design we liked and made a stencil so each one of the kids (and myself) could create our own geko.  It turned out pretty fun!  Sarah was in school so we made her a blue glitter geko in her absence.  I think she will love it.
The wood was in pretty bad shape.  We had to put lots of paint on the table.
